The ROYAL SMITH 90-006 has proven to be a consistent success since its launch. The new ROYAL SMITH 90-006c brings updates to our 006 model line and has been even more popular than its predecessor.

Available in a silver or gold case, the ROYAL SMITH 90-006c now offers a black dial as well as an ivory dial. The significant design changes for this revision are the textured "waffle" dial and the Swiss-made Super-LumiNova® hands. The texture of the waffle adds character compared to a simple and smooth dial and the Super-LumiNova® coating made in Switzerland absorbs light and emits a strong and long-lasting glow in darker environments. Combined with a threaded crown for greater water resistance, the new ROYAL SMITH 90-006 is an elegant design useful for formal occasions, but also practical for everyday use.

For the beating heart of this watch, the ROYAL SMITH 90-006c uses the Cal.9039 made by CITIZEN MIYOTA, a "high beat" movement made in Japan. This movement oscillates 28,800 times per hour (8 times per second), increasing the accuracy of the watch.

Cal.9039 was recently revived by MIYOTA after a period of about 30 years. It has a thickness of only 3.9 mm, incomparable even by the popular Swiss-made ETA2824.

All our OLD SMITH 90-002 watches are assembled by hand by internally trained watchmakers to ensure the highest possible quality.
