In 1967, DOXA launched the revolutionary SUB concept, considered the first diver's watch truly designed for use, accessible to a wider audience. The radical innovations it introduced at the time soon made it the benchmark for professionals too. Water-resistant to 30 bar, approximately equivalent to a depth of 300 meters, it was the first to feature a unidirectional bezel with a double scale for depth and dive time to calculate a safe ascent without decompression stops. The most radical of all: the orange dial that greatly improved legibility underwater.

The 42.5 mm case of the SUB 300 is made of the highest quality 316L stainless steel. The automatic movement features the prestigious COSC Certified Chronometer certification, guaranteeing accuracy, robustness, and reliability. It also provides a power reserve of 38 hours. The date window is positioned at 3 o'clock. The SUB 300 naturally features the famous unidirectional rotating bezel, a DOXA patent, with the double indication of dive time in minutes and depth in meters to calculate decompression dive times without stops. With a screw-down crown, its water resistance is rated at 300 meters, or approximately 980 feet.

As a nod to its heritage, today's SUB 300 is covered with a scratch-resistant sapphire crystal with an anti-reflective treatment. It has the same domed shape as the plexiglass on the original from 1967. All dive-related markings feature a Super-LumiNova® luminescent coating to ensure excellent legibility in low visibility conditions.

Since 2020, the SUB 300 has been available in 8 colours. It can be specified with the iconic 'beads of rice' stainless steel bracelet or a sporty rubber strap, with distinct DOXA accents on both sides, to match the dial colour. The rubber strap's folding clasp features the exclusive DOXA fish symbol and has an adjustable diving extension to accommodate the thickness of a wetsuit
