CUERVO Y SOBRINOS
Cuervo y Sobrinos produces its watches in Switzerland, with its headquarters in Capolago overlooking Lake Lugano. However, its roots are in Cuba, and its inspiration is clearly Latin, with many designs influenced by Art Deco, a movement in decorative arts and architecture that was popular in the 1920s and 30s.
In the 1950s, Havana was the most luxurious city in the Caribbean and one of the most modern and energetic places in the Americas. The Cuervo y Sobrinos boutique became a must-visit destination for some of Havana's most illustrious visitors. Caruso, Churchill, Einstein, Gable, Hemingway, and Neruda were just some of the distinguished visitors to the Cuervo y Sobrinos boutique in Havana.
