The ROYAL SMITH 90-012 marks the 12th entry into KUOE’s collection.

It’s our first model to feature an automatic chronograph, fitted with a Japanese-made calibre, NE86A, a premium movement developed by TMI (Seiko Time Module). The NE86A is a bi-compax automatic chronograph with a 30-minute totaliser. This high-beat movement oscillates at 28,800 beats per hour (8 times per second), increasing the smoothness of the second hand sweep and boosting the watch's accuracy.

The ROYAL SMITH 90-012’s dial is constructed in three layers, blending a grain texture and a fine-line finish. As light changes, the dial shows different tones and depths, giving the watch a quiet, refined presence. Polished Breguet numerals add a classic touch, reminiscent of mid-20th-century watch charm.

For durability, the watch is fitted with a domed sapphire crystal coated with anti-reflection (AR) and anti-fingerprint (AF) treatments for enhanced clarity and smudge resistance. The case and bracelet are crafted from 316L stainless steel, the same grade used in medical instruments. It offers strong protection against rust and discolouration, while remaining gentle on the skin. The bracelet itself comes with fitted end links, as well as a tool-free micro-adjustment. The watch also comes with an additional German leather strap.
