Some specs:
Large size version with 40mm stainless steel case
Automatic movement ETA 2892
Integrated steel bracelet
Our opinion:
Made between 1987 and 1995 and therefore known as “Pre Bond” models in reference of the famous movies in which James Bond started wearing Omega Seamaster watches.
These watches came out both in quartz versions and automatic and in two sizes also, the midsize 38mm and the large size at 40mm.
This particular example here is the large 40mm without crown version and as the “automatic chronometer” in the dial lets you know, it’s powered by the automatic ETA 2892 based movement.
Personally I like the rugged tool watch look of this version versus the more modern variants that are a bit more on the luxury side of things.
The integrated bracelet is super comfortable and fits the look very well.
This example comes without box or papers but it’s in all original condition. Good dial, good hands and case, only the bezel insert shows some wear.
