The "Ripley" Seiko 7a28-7000 got it's nickname from the main character of Aliens movie staring Sigourney Weaver where she wore this exact same watch.
It's become a cult movie and a cult watch.
The 7a28 was the first quartz chronograph movement with an analog display and was designed by famous car designer Giugiaro.
The watch itself has a fantastic design and uber cool look.
It's become rarer and rarer to find one because collectors just keep them.
Finding one with the original box and original hangtag is just amazing. Also this watch has the original "Speedmaster" bracelet clasp which is something even more difficult to find.
This watch is from 04/1983 which was the original release date of this model.
