Unfiltered opinion:
Waltham was actually the first brand to make a water resistant wristwatch in 1918 and was thanks to this bayonet style crown system patented at the time and now updated and recreated in this new watch.
Waltham has a very rich and long history and now has just become independent again thanks to the success of this and other models launched in recent years.
This is actually a very original watch and great looking too with plenty of nice details as the raised indexes.
For this asking price, for an historical piece like this with great details and finish and a nice Swiss movement, this is actually a great purchase.
This watch is in very good condition, still with sticker on the back, only showing some wear signs on the cool military green synthetic strap.
