LIP Chronographs have been on a constant high for the past couple of years. The brand has an amazing history and it’s heritage is absolutely amazing. As a side note I would definitely recommend the book "LIP Des Heures à Center" by Marie-Pia Cousins and Daniel Galazzo. You will be amazed by LIP`s history.
These Chronographs were powered by the reliable and much used Valjoux 7730, 7733 and 7734. Also some older versions used some Landeron movements also. Usually cased in generic 36mm cases these watches have a timeless design and are very wearable still today.
The dials and hands were the parts that usually stood out because of their funky designs and colors. This one though has the classic black dial with slightly recessed white sub dials, also known as a “reverse panda” configuration. These have became highly sought after and collectible and are not so easy to find, so if you’re thinking of getting one just don’t hesitate because they really don’t come by easily.
This example shows some wear and age signs but very slightly and is in overall very good condition. Fitted with one of our original straps it’s ready to embellish any wrist.
