Released as a commemorative series at the time of the 1956 Melbourne Olympics, the Seamaster XVI was produced as a Limited Edition and is today one of the most sought after vintage Omegas.
Sharing the case and design of the Constellation Pie Pan which is arguably one of the most beautiful vintage watches from the Swiss brand.
Powered by Omega automatic caliber 501 with a solid gold case with 34mm and a really rare two tone dial version.
Caseback has correct reference numbers but doesn’t have the Olympic Cross engraving which should be the correct one, which leads us to think that it was replaced at some point.
Otherwise excellent condition of case, dial, hands, crown, with very little wear and age signs.
