Exquisite Omega Oversize with the so called “spider lugs” easily recognizable due to their amazing and unique shape.
Serial 10588051 dates this watch to circa 1944. Powered by the well known Omega manual wind Cal. 30T2 with a steel case measuring a fantastic 37.5mm which places this watch in the “Oversized” category and just perfect for modern size standards.
Case is in overall very good conditions with very light wear and age signs for a case this old, movement is ticking strong and everything is original except maybe for the crown and plexi crystal.
Dial has a beautiful configuration resembling the well know “Chronometer” dials with Roman numeral indexes alternating with silver dots all placed in a silver index ring over a cream dial. Unfortunately it’s not in perfect condition showing some slightly darker areas between 1 and 3 o’clock but otherwise still immensely beautiful and all original.
Definitely a very rare watch with a very unique configuration and still an eye catcher.
