Seems like everyone is rediscovering Franck Muller again.
One of the highest regarded luxury brands from the 90’s is growing in demand again specifically those fantastic pieces from that era that don’t use the more well known cintree curvex case.
Proof of that is the recent launch of the Revolution/Franck Muller Grail Watch with 3 tribute chronographs that bring back this design.
In fact you could call this the holy grail of chronograph design.
Round case, stainless steel, applied Breguet numerals and dot markers, tachymeter scale, blued steel leaf hands, pump pushers, large flat crown, chronograph minute counter with minute track, recessed subdials, these are some of the design cues in common with two other 90’s grail chronographs from Roger Dubuis and Patek Philippe.
This particular version presented here comes with the most amazing two tone dial. A subtle cream color on the center surrounded by a silver 60 second index ring and subdials and an exterior lighter silver almost white tachymeter scale.
Just absolutely fabulous!
This case has a perfect 39mm diameter and the movement is an extensively modified and very well finished Valjoux 7750 automatic with a platinum rotor and according to Franck Muller with chronometre quality.
I have no doubt that these will be the kind of watches soaring in demand and price over the next years. 90’s watches with great quality and design.
This watch is in mint condition, with very little to no wear signs. Comes on a custom made fabric strap. Watch only.
